The system has a multi-axle, three-dimensionally movable robot arm, and an image recording system fastened at a distal end of the robot arm by a fastening element (6). The image recording system includes a c-arm (12), an X-ray source (13) and an X-ray detector (14). A supply line (11) e.g. cable, is connected with the image recording system for supplying power to the image recording system. Guide elements (15) are rotatably fastened to the robot arm at a point outside the fastening element for guiding the supply line, where the supply line is movably arranged within the guide elements. Für einen sicheren und praktischen Arbeitsablauf ist ein Röntgensystem, aufweisend einen mehrachsigen, dreidimensional verstellbaren Roboterarm, an dessen distalem Ende mittels eines Befestigungselements (6) ein Bildaufnahmesystem (12; 13; 14) befestigt ist, und eine das Bildaufnahmesystem (12; 13; 14) vorsorgende Versorgungsleitung (11), welche an einem Ende mit dem Bildaufnahmesystem (12; 13; 14) verbunden ist und an dem zweiten Ende außerhalb des Röntgensystems befestigt ist, wobei an zumindest einem Punkt des Roboterarms außerhalb des Befestigungselements (6) ein Führungselement (15) zur Durchführung der Versorgungsleitung (11) befestigt ist, vorgesehen.
