The arrangement has a monitor (1) i.e. flat-panel display, formed such that a keyboard (2) is fixable in different positions on the monitor. The monitor has an opening at a rear side, where the keyboard is insertable in the opening. A U-shaped recess (3) is provided on a lower side of the monitor. The keyboard is slidable in the recess and laterally fixable at the recess. The keyboard is magnetically or mechanically fixed to the monitor. A home function is integrated in the keyboard and realized using a trackball or a touchpad (8).
