The sensor has an opening for performing pressure compensation between an interior of a housing (1) and the surrounding of the housing. The opening is closed with a filter (4), which consists of a sintered material. The filter comprises a semi-permeable membrane made of PTFE. The opening is arranged at a position of the housing, and lies outside a region of sensor components (5, 6) and outside a transparent region (2) provided in the housing. A deflector surface (7) is arranged at the interior of the housing, where the deflector surface lies opposite to the opening with the filter.
