The drive has a piezo-motor (20) comprising a resonator (22) connected with a piezoelectric component (21), where the drive is in effective connection with a contact partner of a contact system (4) such that the contact partner is movable into switching positions in a motor-driven manner. The resonator cooperates with a transmission body (3) for transmitting motor torque to the system such that the body is movable based on movement of the resonator. The transmission body has a wheel (30) in friction-contact with the resonator. An independent claim is also included for an electrical switch comprising a switch drive.
