Zusammenfassung:The refrigerator and/or freezer (10) has a coolant circuit (20) formed of multiple parts. A connecting point of the coolant circuit is provided with an insulation. The connecting point is in the form of a connecting point of an evaporator i.e. lamella-type evaporator. The insulation comprises an air-tight covering (30) and an insulation tube (40) made of insulation foam material. The cover surrounds connecting point. Rubber lips (14) are provided in an edge of the covering and are elastically deformable. The connecting point is arranged at a covering side of the refrigerator and/or freezer. An independent claim is also included for a method for insulating a connecting point in a coolant circuit of refrigerator and/or freezer.
