The device has a golf ball with an upper surface provided with a metallized coating material that reduces rolling resistance of the golf ball. Chemical composites such as aluminum, chromium, copper, nickel, silver, gold, platinum and titanium, are used as the metallized material. The metallized material exhibits physically magnetic, electrically conductive or heat-retaining characteristics. The metallized material is applied on a preset part of the upper surface by pressing, spraying, immersion, electrostatic and galvanic processes.
