Zusammenfassung:	The casing (10) has a protective casing part (12) for attachment in a spindle neck (26) of a grinding machine. Another protective casing part (22) is detachably attached to the former casing part. The former casing part is partially open at a side turned towards the spindle neck, and is designed as a protective casing for rough machining works. The latter casing part covers an opening of the former casing part at the side turned towards the spindle neck. The former casing part is made of metal i.e. steel sheet, and the latter casing part is made of rubber or flexible plastic. Es wird eine Schutzhaube für ein Schleifgerät, vorzugsweise für einen Winkelschleifer, angegeben, mit einem ersten Schutzhaubenteil (12), das zur Befestigung an einem Spindelhals (26) des Schleifgerätes ausgebildet ist, und mit einem zweiten Schutzhail (12) befestigbar ist.
