The arrangement has a sensor element (1) attached to a thermal source unit (2), and a regulator unit (3) controlling the thermal source unit, where the thermal source unit includes a heater, which is designed as an electrical-thermal transducer element. A temperature sensor element is connected to the regulator unit and directly or indirectly detects temperature of the sensor element. The sensor element is arranged in a sensor housing (5), and the thermal source unit and the temperature sensor element are arranged in the sensor housing or are thermally coupled with the sensor housing. An independent claim is also included for a method for thermal regulation of a sensor arrangement.
