Zusammenfassung:	The cylinder (2) has a rinsing device with two rinsing medium outlet openings (17, 19), which are tangentially and centrically arranged, and a rinsing medium inlet opening (18) arranged in a tangential direction, where one of the openings is arranged in a cylinder head lock (6). A set of quick-release fastener devices is provided for fastening a cylinder head lock, where the quick-release fastener device is designed as a self-locking quick-release fastener device. The rinsing medium inlet opening is provided with two different mediums. An independent claim is also included for a method for rinsing a color dosing cylinder. Um den Spülvorgang bei einem Farbdosierzylinder (2) für eine Lackierungsanlage (1) zu verbessern, wird vorgeschlagen, eine einzelne Spülmittelzuführöffnung (18) und wenigstens zwei Spülmittelaustrittsöffnungen (17, 19) vorzusehen. Die Spülmittelaustrittsöffnungen (17, 19) können dabei gleichzeitig und/oder nacheinander geöffnet werden.
