Zusammenfassung:	The container (10) has a fastening device (20) for removably fixing the container to a body-sided retaining unit (18) of a motor vehicle. A cover element i.e. cover plate, is swivelable between two positions, and a cup holder is accessible by swiveling the cover element. A cooling and/or heating device to be electrically operated is provided with a thermally insulated storage space. The fastening device (20) includes two fastening elements (21a, 21b) that are designed as a spring lock and a snap-on branch, respectively. Die Erfindung betrifft einen mobilen Transportbehälter (10) für ein Kraftfahrzeug zur Beförderung von Transportgut, insbesondere von Lebensmitteln, Spielzeug und dergleichen, wobei dieser eine Befestigungseinrichtung (20) umfasst, mittels welcher der Transportbehälter (10) lösbar an wenigstens einem karosserieseitigen Haltemittel (18) des Kraftfahrzeugs festzulegen ist.
