Zusammenfassung:	The valve (1) has a valve seat (4) and a valve closing member (2) with a flexible sealing element (3). The flexible sealing element is sealed at a sealing region (5) of the valve seat in a closed condition of the valve. A part of the sealing element is stored on a storage region (6) i.e. conical region, of the valve seat for supporting the sealing element. The storage region has a defined fine structure (11) with recesses e.g. concentric circular grooves, and surface areas limited by the recesses. The surface areas are designed as rectangles, trapezoids or squares. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Gasventil zum Zuführen eines gasförmigen Mediums, umfassend einen Ventilsitz (4) und ein Ventilschließglied (2) mit einem elastischen Dichtelement (3), wobei der Ventilsitz (4) einen Dichtbereich (5) und einen Ablagebereich (6) umfasst, wobei im geschlossenen Zustand des Gasventils das elastische Dichtelement (3) am Dichtbereich (5) abdichtet und ein Teil des Dichtelements (3) auf dem Ablagebereich (6) zur Abstützung des Dichtelements (3) abgelegt ist und wobei der Ablagebereich (6) eine definierte Feinstrukturierung mit einer Vielzahl von Vertiefungen (7) und einer Vielzahl durch die Vertiefungen (7) begrenzter Flächenbereiche (8) umfasst.
