Detergent or cleaning composition, e.g. for washing textiles, contains particulate phthalimido-peroxoalkanoic acid bleach and corrosion inhibitor, e.g. phosphonocarboxylic or phosphonic acid

A bleach-containing detergent or cleaning composition (A), containing a particulate phthalimido-peroxoalkanoic acid (I), also contains active component(s) (II) selected from zinc ions, benzotriazole, nitrate ions, phosphonocarboxylic acids, phosphonic acids, phosphates, polyaspartic acids, fatty amines and/or surfactants with nitrogen-containing head groups. Independent claims are included for: (1) a textile washing process in an automatic washing machine, using a bleach-containing washing or cleaning composition (A'), containing particulate (I), organic phosphonic acids (and/or their salts) (IIa) and polycarboxylate (III), where the concentrations used in the washing liquor are at least 40 (preferably 50-500, especially 150-300) ppm for (III), at least 2 (preferably 5-300, especially 20-200) ppm for (II) and at least 5 (preferably 10-400, especially 30-200) ppm for (I); (2) the use of an aqueous dispersion containing particulate (I) and (II) for production of (preferably liquid) washing or cleaning compositions; and (3) the use of (II) for suppressing corrosion of machine parts during the washing of textiles in automatic washing machines using (I)-containing detergents.
