The valve (18) has a coolant inlet (E) provided in a base plate (20). A coolant outlet (A) is provided with a middle axis (M1), and a valve seat is formed in the base plate. A valve unit (22) i.e. pointed-angular cone, is movably arranged in the base plate, and cooperates with the valve seat. A drive element (28) moves the valve element, and comprises another middle axis (M2), where the middle axis of the drive element runs parallelly with the middle axis of the coolant outlet. The drive element is formed as a single piece with the valve element.
