Zusammenfassung: | The element (10) is made of ferromagnetic material such as ferromagnetic brass ferrous alloy. A pair of component belts (11) is connected with each other by a splice zipper by plastic deformation of the element. A magnet (13) retains the connecting element. The magnet is arranged within an area of a recess (14). The element is designed as a splice for connecting the two component belts. The element is positioned and held based on the magnetic force at a connecting tool (12). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system with a connecting tool (2) a method for connecting two component belts by a connecting element.
