The connection has a hub (1) with a connection socket (7) that comprises a polygonal shape, where the connection socket is protruded from a front surface (6) of the hub. A rotation element (2) is provided on the connection socket, where the rotation element has an opening corresponding to the polygonal shape of the connection socket. The polygonal shape of the connection socket is formed from alternately arranged concave and convex ring surfaces (9, 10). An outer edge (11) of the connection socket protrudes in an axial direction by the rotation element. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a connection of a rotation element with a hub.
