Overvoltage protection unit for use in switch box and power socket-insert, has circuit board with two thermal fuses and two varistors where circuit board has through-hole or recess at periphery

The overvoltage protection unit (1) has a circuit board (2) with two thermal fuses (3,4) and two varistors (5,6). The overvoltage protection unit has an acoustic warning element and a gas conductor (8). The circuit board has a through-hole or a recess at the periphery. The two varistors and the two thermal fuses are provided on the circuit board in contactable vicinity. Gezeigt ist eine Überspannungsschutz-Baueinheit (1) mit einer Platine (2) mit mindestens zwei Temperatursicherungen (3, 4) und mit mindestens zwei Varistoren (5, 6) sowie einem akustischen Warnelement (7) und mit einem Gas-Ableiter (8), wobei die Platine (2) beidseitig bestückt ist, mindestens eine Durchbrechung (9) oder mindestens einen Ausschnitt (10, 11) am Umfang aufweist, in der/dem ein Bauelement (3, 4, 8) eingesetzt ist und daß die mindestens zwei Varistoren (5, 6) und die mindestens zwei Temperatursicherungen (3, 4) in kontaktfähiger Nachbarschaft an der Platine (2) vorgesehen sind.
