Zusammenfassung:	The valve has a valve body (1) with two connectors (16, 17) for supply and discharge of a medium. A slider is movable into the valve body for blocking and releasing a medium stream transverse to its direction of flow by a piezoelectric actuator (2). The valve body has housing parts (3, 4), at which the actuator is fixed. The connectors are arranged at parallel side pieces (5, 6) of the housing parts facing each other, where the slider is supported between the side pieces. The slider is designed as a foil slider, and the actuator is implemented as a direct drive. Das Ventil ist für gasförmige und flüssige Medien vorgesehen und umfasst einen Ventilkörper mit zwei Medienanschlüssen und einen mit einem Piezoaktor betätigbaren Schieber.
