Zusammenfassung: | Stratified polymers and polymer solutions are radially accelerated by centrifugal forces. They are raised and suspended. Through superposition of electrical fields, their droplet form, boundary layer structure and interfacial surface tension are significantly varied. Centrifugal and shear forces are produced by container rotation. These further reduce the viscosity of the thixotropic polymer solution. The polymer concentration in the solution is up to 50 wt%. The method is used to spin single- or multi-phase polymers. An independent claim IS INCLUDED FOR corresponding equipment. |
