Zusammenfassung:	The nuclear reactor has a reactor core arranged in a primary circuit, in which an ionic liquid circulates as a cooling agent. The ionic liquid contains the nuclear fuel at the same time. The primary circuit is attached to an intermediate circuit over a heat exchanger in which the ionic liquid circulates that does not contain nuclear fuel. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Kernreaktor mit einem in einem Primärkreis (18) angeordneten Reaktorkern (12). Gemäß der Erfindung wird der Reaktorkern (12) mit einer ionischen Flüssigkeit (IL, ILK) gekühlt.
