Multipoint measuring device for use as e.g. thermocouple, has insulating matrix drawn from continuous material with return conductor and forward conductors, where matrix is opened at connection points and different connections are conducted

The device has a return conductor (44) running centrally in an insulating matrix (45). The return conductor is connected with one of forward conductors (42) based on a linear expansion of the device at different positions, where the return conductor exhibits different material than the forward conductors. The matrix is drawn from a continuous material with the return conductor and forward conductors. The matrix is opened at connection points, where different connections are conducted and the matrix is closed by welding in a diameter-neutral manner. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a multipoint measuring device.
