Zusammenfassung:	The lens (4) has a lens body with a light input face for feeding the light emitted by a light source (2). An arc-shaped light output face is provided for decoupling of the light. A lateral surface (8) is provided extending in the area between the light input face and the light output face. The lateral surface is structured such that the input light (10) arriving on the lateral surface is decoupled by the lateral surface. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Linse für Fahrzeugscheinwerfer, enthaltend einen Linsenkörper mit einer Lichteinkoppelfläche zum Einkoppeln des von einer Lichtquelle ausgesandten Lichtes, mit einer bogenförmigen Lichtauskoppelfläche zum Auskoppeln des Lichtes, mit mindestens einer sich in einem Bereich zwischen der Lichteinkoppelfläche und der Lichtauskoppelfläche erstreckenden Seitenfläche, wobei die Seitenfläche derart strukturiert ist, dass auf die Seitenfläche eintreffendes eingekoppeltes Licht an der Seitenfläche ausgekoppelt wird.
