A dashboard cowl (5) is provided with a closing plate, which is directly connected with the sillboards and the tunnel. The dashboard cowl is adhered with a base front from a fiber-reinforced plastic. The tunnel is welded with a heel plate (6), which runs parallel to the dashboard cowl, where the structure is made of high-strength steel.
