Zusammenfassung:The winding machine comprises multiple winding points operated independently. A winding point calculator is provided, which is assigned to the winding points, which is arranged inside a housing shaped covering, which covers a drive element. A display (20) is arranged at each winding point, where the display contains multiple light permeable individual images of possible errors or error locations. Bei einer Spulmaschine mit einer Vielzahl von unabhängig voneinander betreibbaren Spulstellen wird vorgesehen, dass in der Verkleidung jeder Spulstelle ein Display 20 angeordnet ist, das mehrere Einzelbilder von möglichen Fehlern und/oder Fehlerarten enthält, die individuell von dem Spulstellenrechner ansteuerbar sind.
