The lasers are mounted on a mounting plate (15) such that the outlets of the lasers are collinear with the respective inlet ports of the combining unit. The combining unit combines the light of the lasers to a single beam. An independent claim is also included for a microscope comprising several lasers that are arranged on a mounting plate.
