Zusammenfassung:	The wheel has a visible surface facing a driver of a motor vehicle, and a gripping region (4) connected with a central base body (8) that has a ring shape. A covering (10) for an airbag (28) is provided on a front side of the base body, and a rectangular shaped display (16) e.g. liquid crystal display (LCD), is arranged on the covering. The display represents text and/or graphic information of different types. The covering is provided with reference break lines (12, 14) so that the covering is divided into different parts during the opening of the airbag. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Lenkrad (2) mit einer einem Fahrer eines Kraftfahrzeugs zugewandten Sichtfläche, mit einer in, an oder auf der Sichtfläche angeordneten Anzeigevorrichtung, wobei die Anzeigevorrichtung einen Bildschirm (16) umfasst.
