The press has two tool parts (4, 5) moveably and fixedly arranged in a machine stand (3) in a pressing direction (P), respectively. An auxiliary tool part (6) is placed between the moveable and fixed tool parts. The auxiliary tool part forms tool surfaces working together with the two tool parts for shaping a molded part (2). The auxiliary tool part is movable with drive units (7) in the pressing direction of the press, where the drive units are designed as a hydraulic piston cylinder system (9). Die Erfindung betrifft eine Presse (1) zum Umformen mindestens eines Formteils (2), vorzugsweise eines mindestens einen flächigen Abschnitt aufweisenden Blechs, die mindestens ein in einem Maschinenständer (3) in eine Pressrichtung (P) verfahrbar angeordnetes erstes Werkzeugteil (4) sowie mindestens ein, vorzugsweise ortsfest im Maschinenständer (3) angeordnetes, zweites Werkzeugteil (5) aufweist. Um eine wirtschaftlichere Fertigung der Formteile zu erreichen, ist die erfindungsgemäße Presse gekennzeichnet durch mindestens ein zwischen das verfahrbare erste (4) und das vorzugsweise ortsfeste zweite (5) Werkzeugteil einbringbares oder eingebrachtes Zusatzwerkzeugteil (6), das im Zusammenwirken mit dem ersten Werkzeugteil (4) und/oder dem zweiten Werkzeugteil (5) Werkzeugflächen zur Umformung eines Formteils (2) bildet.
