Zusammenfassung:A saw-tooth wire (10) with a 4-mm overall height (H) has a root section (12) and a blade section (14), in which teeth (20) are punched one after the other in a wire's lengthwise direction. Each tooth has a cutting-tooth face (22) and a tooth's back (24). Clearance between consecutive teeth amounts to 1.96 mm. Teeth cutting depth (h) amounts to 2.2 mm. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) A method for producing a saw-tooth wire; (2) A doffing cylinder with fittings; (3) A carding machine with a doffing cylinder; (4) A method for producing a card sliver/fiber band by means carding.
