Zusammenfassung:In a cold box for carrying out low temperature procedures involving forming of a deep-cooled two-phase mixture and supplying the mixture to a phase separator (20), the phase separator comprises at least two separation vessels (21, 22, 23) installed in parallel and connected to each other at the liquid and gas sides. Independent claims are included for: (1) a floating low temperature plant, consisting of a cold box as above mounted in a water craft; and (2) a method for forming a deep-cooled liquid from a 2-phase mixture by feeding the mixture to a phase separator as above and withdrawing the deep-cooled liquid from the separator, where at least part of the mixture is supplied to each of the separation vessels. Die Coldbox dient zur Durchführung eines Tieftemperatur-Verfahrens, bei dem ein tiefkaltes Zwei-Phasen-Gemisch erzeugt wird. Sie weist ein Mittel (20) zur Phasentrennung und Mittel (8) zur Einleitung des Zwei-Phasen-Gemischs in das Mittel (20) zur Phasentrennung auf. Das Mittel (20) zur Phasentrennung weist mindestens zwei parallel installierte Abscheide-Behälter (21, 22, 23) auf, die flüssigkeitsseitig und gasseitig untereinander verbunden sind (25, 24).
