Protective guard for model helicopter comprises air-permeable cage of plastics surrounding rotor blades which can still be moved inside same for different flight movements

The protective guard comprises a cage-like air permeable housing (3) which surrounds the rotor blades (2a,2b) of the main rotor (2) so that the blades can be moved inside the housing to execute different flight movements. The housing is made from light strong plastics, more particularly of fully synthetic fibres such as nylon fibres. A further housing can protect the tail rotor. Um die von dem Hauptrotor (2) eines Modellhubschraubers (1) ausgehende Verletzungsgefahr für Menschen zu vermindern, wird eine Schutzvorrichtung vorgeschlagen, die aus einem käfigartigen, luftdurchlässigen, den Hauptrotor umgebenden Gehäuse (3) besteht. Das Gehäuse (3) ist dabei derart dimensioniert, dass die Rotorblätter (2a, 2b) innerhalb des Gehäuses (3) derart verstellbar sind, dass der Modellhubschrauber (1) die gewünschten Flugbewegungen durchführen kann.
