Zusammenfassung:	The adapter element (1) is fitted with an eyelet or a ring (22) for being joined to a pulling element (2) which can be a rubber string attached to a counter bearing (3) with its opposite end. The position of the eyelet or ring (22) at the adapter element (1) determines the specific direction of the pulling forces. The adapter (1) is designed in a shape complementary to the body part (7) to be inserted and can be a basic shoe, a glove, or a wide strap to be attached to the arm of the patient. Vorrichtung zur Ausübung einer Zugkraft auf ein Gelenk (6) eines menschlichen Körpers, umfassend ein Adapterelement (1), das an einem distal von dem Gelenk gelegenen Körperteil (5) befestigbar ist, und ein Zugmittel (2), das in einem mit dem Adapterelement (1) verbundenen Zustand über das Adapterelement (1) eine Zugkraft auf das Gelenk (6) ausüben kann.
