Zusammenfassung:	The device has a pipe unit (10) with a conical extending section (10a). A pipe unit (12) has a conical extending section (12a) and a conical tapering section (12b). The sections (10a, 12b) partly over lap each other. A circulating recess, provided in the section (12b), is arranged in the overlapping area between the sections (10a,12b). A sealing ring is arranged in the recess, and a clamping bracket surrounds the sections (10a,12a). An independent claim is also included for an application of a pipe units connecting device in an exhaust gas system of an internal-combustion engine of a motor vehicle. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Axialverbindung von zwei Rohrelementen (10, 12) mit einer Klemmschelle (14) und einem Dichtring (16), wobei die Klemmschelle (14) die einander zugewandten Enden der beiden Rohrelemente (10, 12) formschlüssig umgibt. Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung eignet sich insbesondere bei hohen Gegendrücken und begrenzten Bauräumen und ist deshalb vorteilhafterweise in einem Abgasstrang einer Brennkraftmaschine eines Kraftfahrzeugs anwendbar.
