An independent claim is also included for a method for degassing media (2) by means of ultrasound. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zum Entgasen eines flüssigen bis pastösen Mediums bei der Herstellung und/oder Veredelung einer Papier-, Karton- oder anderen Faserstoffbahn. DOLLAR A Erfindungsgemäß ist wenigstens eine Ultraschallquelle (Sonotrode) (3) vorgesehen, vermittels welcher das zu entgasende Medium (2) mit Ultraschallwellen beaufschlagbar ist.
