Test stand for test pieces, especially gears, has a test piece carrier (1) in which the piece is placed and a drive that can be coupled to the test piece. Clamping cylinders (2) are used for fastening the test piece to the piece carrier. A positioning drive (12, 17) can be used to position the clamping cylinders relative to the test piece carrier. Bei einem Prüfstand für Prüflinge, insbesondere Getriebe, werden die Prüflinge über Spannzylinder (2) auf einen Prüflingträger (1) gepreßt. Um verschiedene Prüflinge mit dem gleichen Prüfstand prüfen zu können, sind die Spannzylinder (2) unabhängig voneinander sowohl in ihrer radialen Position als auch in ihrer Winkelposition zueinander verstellbar angeordnet. Die Verstellung der Spannzylinder (2) erfolgt vorzugsweise über Antriebsmotore (12, 17, 18).
