The immobiliser has a locking circuit (7) for activating it and the start switch has a switch element (9) in the locking circuit that is opened after starting the engine and closed after stopping the engine. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einem Startschalter zum Starten/Stoppen einer Brennkraftmaschine und mit einer elektronisch betätigten Wegfahrsperre, die im aktivierten Zustand ein für den Betrieb des Kraftfahrzeugs wichtiges Bauteil sperrt.
