The tappet with piston consists of the tappet (1) itself, which carries and axially and radially guided roller (3), and a piston (4) fixed to the tappet. The axial and/or radial guide for the roller is adjustable on the tappet by means of a roller shoe (2) fixed to the tappet, in which the roller can rotate with axial play. The invention relates to a tappet piston which comprises a tappet that carries an axially and radially guided roller and a piston that is firmly linked with the tappet. The axial and/or the radial guide of the roller on the tappet is accomplished by means of a roller saddle that is firmly linked with the tappet and in which the roller is mounted to be rotatable and have axial play.
