Zusammenfassung: | Diagnostic kit (A) for determining tolerance of pharmaceuticals in humans. Diagnostic kit (A) for determining tolerance of pharmaceuticals in humans comprises two pairs of oligonucleotide (ON) primers, in which each pair amplifies, by PCR, one of two complementary strands of a selected DNA segment (I). (I) is part of a gene (II) for a human enzyme involved in phase I and/or II of the detoxification mechanism, and the two primer pairs amplify different (I). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) method for determining tolerance to pharmaceuticals by determining allelic variability of at least two polymorphisms of (II) in a blood, tissue or other human sample, where tolerance is determined from presence or absence of alleles; (2) microarray, e.g. DNA chip, carrying oligonucleotide probes able to hybridize to (I); and (3) diagnostic kit containing the microarray of (2).
