Continuous direct synthesis of silane and mono-, di-, tri- and tetra-chlorosilanes, in fluidized bed includes recycling dust containing silicon as suspension in liquid Continuous direct synthesis of silane, mono-, di- and tri-chlorosilane and silicon tetrachloride compounds of formula (I) comprises reacting finely-divided silicon (Si) metal with a chloride of formula (II) in a fluidized bed; removing a product stream containing gaseous silanes (I), other gaseous reaction products, unreacted (II) and dust containing Si; and introducing (part of) the dust, in the form of a suspension in a liquid selected from liquid (I) and/or other liquid reaction product, into the fluidized bed: RaSiCl4-a (I) R-Cl (II) R = hydrogen (H), methyl (Me) or ethyl (Et); a = 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein kontinuierliches Verfahren zur Direktsynthese von Silanen der allgemeinen Formel 1 DOLLAR A R¶a¶SiCl¶4-a¶ DOLLAR A durch Umsetzung von feinteiligem Siliciummetall mit R-Cl in Wirbelschicht, wobei DOLLAR A R Wasserstoff, Methyl oder Ethyl und DOLLAR A a die Werte 0, 1, 2, 3 oder 4 bedeuten, DOLLAR A wobei aus der Wirbelschicht ein Produktstrom ausgebracht wird, der gasförmige Silane der allgemeinen Formel 1, weitere gasförmige Reaktionsprodukte, nicht umgesetztes RCl und Silicium enthaltenden Staub enthält, DOLLAR A bei dem mindestens ein Teil des Staubs in Form einer Suspension in einer Flüssigkeit, die ausgewählt wird aus flüssigen Silanen der allgemeinen Formel 1, weiteren flüssigen Reaktionsprodukten und deren Gemischen, in die Wirbelschicht eingebracht wird.
