Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:The method involves receiving memory characteristics from data files via a first agent, receiving file system calls and file attributes via a second agent, storing storage attributes in a first data depot via the second agent, receiving storage attributes from the first depot via a third agent and from the first and third agents via a memory management application and storing attributes in a second depot via the memory management application. The method involves receiving data memory characteristics from more than one data file via a first software agent (115), receiving calls to the data file system (120) and receiving data file attributes from the call via a second agent, storing data file storage attributes in a first data depot via the second agent, receiving data file storage attributes from the first data depot via a third agent, receiving data storage attributes from the first and third agents via a memory management application (140) and storing data storage attributes in a second data depot via the memory management application. Independent claims are also included for the following: a system for managing a computer data memory and a program storage medium for program instructions to be carried out by a computer.
