Zusammenfassung:	In a torque converter with a turbine wheel (34) in a housing arrangement, a lock-up clutch piston (54) is riveted to an elastically deformable steel connection element (74). The assembly is fixed under axial pre-tensioning between a housing hub (50) and cover (24) that have contacting surfaces (80, 82) connected together by a laser weld (84). Hence, the clutch is fixed to rotate with the housing but is axially displaceable relative to it. An independent claim is also included for a tapered flat shaped elastic connection element.
