Preparation of organopolysiloxanes (I) with units of formula (IA), containing 2-440C fluorohydrocarbyl group(s), 12-400C hydrocarbyl group(s) and optionally 1-11C hydrocarbyl and/or chlorine, hydroxy and/or 1-8 C alkoxy groups, comprises the cohydrolysis of organosilanes of formula (II), including organosilane(s) with 12-400C hydrocarbyl substituent(s), with fluorocarbyl-substituted organosilanes of formula (III), containing fluorocarbon groups of the given formulae in the presence of water.
