Said assay consists of a combination of a natural virus isolation agent, suspended target cells and a cell culture medium containing foetal calf serum, whereby the concentration of the foetal calf serum is less than 5 % by volume. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Replikationsassay zum Auffinden antiviral wirksamer Hemmstoffe als Ein-Topf-Assay, bestehnd aus der Kombination von einen natürlichem Virus-Isolat, suspendierten Zielzellen und Zellkulturmedium, enthaltend foetales, worin die Konzentration des foetalen Kälberserums weniger als 5 Vol.-% beträgt.
