Polyoxymethylene thermoplastic molding composition, useful for producing articles having sliding contact with hard surfaces, comprises polyoxyethylene homo- or co-polymer and a polyethylene wax lubricant

Thermoplastic molding composition (I) comprises: (A) polyoxyethylene homo- or co-polymer (40-99.5 wt.%); (B) a lubricant mixture comprising (b1) an aliphatic ester and (b2) a polyethylene wax (0.5-10 wt.%); and (C) additives (0-60 wt.%). An Independent claim is also included for a molded object prepared from the composition of the claim. Polyoxymethylen mit Zusatz eines Gleitmittelgemisches, bestehend aus einem aliphatischen Ester und einem Polyethylenwachs, verbessert das Einzugsverhalten in die Spritzgießmaschine ohne das tribologische Verhalten wesentlich zu verändern im Vegleich zu einem Polyoxymethylen, das nur mit einem aliphatischen Ester ausgerüstet ist. Gleichzeitig wird die Fließnahtfestigkeit am Formteil verbessert. Die Formmasse findet Anwendung für Formteile jeglicher Art mit hohen tribologischen Anforderungen gegen harte Gegenlaufpartner.
