Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Warm- und Kaltumformen, insbesondere zum Fließpressen, eines metallischen Werkstücks 12 unter Verwendung einer Matrize 13 und einer Vorschubeinrichtung für das Werkstück 12. Die Matrize ist mit einer Oszillationsvorrichtung 2, 4 in oszillierende Relativbewegungen zum Werkstück 12 erregbar. Das Werkstück 12 wird in einem Arbeitsgang in mehreren in Materialdurchlaufrichtung 16 hintereinander liegenden Reduktionskammern 1a-5f der Matrize 13 gleichzeitig einer Reihe von Unformungsschritten 1.1-5.1 unterzogen. Der Körper der Matrize weist hierzu in Material-Durchlaufrichtung 16 eine Anzahl von Reduktionskammern auf, die mit stufenweise abnehmenden Materialdurchlaßweiten 1.1 bis n.1 in Reihe hintereinander angeordnet sind. |
