Zusammenfassung:A point for the beginning of fuel injection moment and injection period for each cylinder are determined in a load-controlled way in a motor controller (2) and supplied to the actuators for execution of the injection. To improve the response characteristic of the internal combustion engine, control information, in a control data set, for injection of the cylinder currently to be addressed is transmitted as reserve information for the subsequent cylinder in every transmission cycle. In the event of a load increase, reserve saved information from the previous transmission cycle is used to control injection in the subsequent cylinder. Fuel injection is adjusted so that is takes place earlier in the event of load increase and later in the event of load decrease. The control data set also contains additional actuating variables for ignition and operation of variable electromagnetically adjustable gas shuttle valves. An independent claim is included for a control device for an internal combustion engine.
