Eine Flanschwelle (1), die insbesondere bei einem Kraftfahrzeug anwendbar ist, ist mit mindestens einem Flansch (2) und einer Welle (3) versehen, wobei der Flansch (2) eine Flanschfläche (4) und einen Flanschrücken (5) aufweist. Zur Abdeckung des Flanschrückens (5) ist eine Schutzkappe (6) vorgesehen.
