Zusammenfassung:The electrically heated air fuel mixing device is designed to be disposed in suction pipes of spark-ignition internal combustion engines and contains PTC heating elements (1.1, 1.2) and heat-exchanging segments (2, 3, 4) which comprise a base plate with spike-shaped projections. The heat-exchanging segments (2, 3, 4) are box-shaped, where the spike-shaped projections form the box walls. The segments are nested within one another in such a way that the base plate of a heat-exchanging segment (2, 3, 4) is disposed on each side of each PTC heating element (1.1, 1.2). The relationship between the heat capacity and reciprocal thermal resistance of each segment and the heat capacity and reciprocal thermal resistance of each other segment is the same or approximately the same as the relationship between the number of the PTC heating elements (1.1, 1.2) contacted on the base plates of the respective segments (2, 3, 4).
