Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the titled preparation having a band-seal, by filling a specific cephem antibiotic substance together with a diluent and optionally a lubricant. CONSTITUTION:A capsule preparation having a band-seal can be produced by filling (A) an antibiotic substance (6R,7R)-7-[(Z)-2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-4 carboxy-2-butenoyl-amino]-8-oxo-5-thia-1-azabicyclo[4,2,0]oct-2-ene-2- carboxylic acid or its derivative together with (B) a diluent (e.g. sugars such as glucose, fructose, starches such as corn starch, celluloses such as crystalline cellulose, etc.) and, if necessary, (C) a lubricant (e.g. refined talc, stearic acid, boric acid powder, hardened oil, etc.). EFFECT:The discoloration and lowering of titer of the drug can be prevented by filling the antibiotic substance in a capsule and applying a band-seal to the joint part of the capsule.
