Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to new compositions for increasing the cold resistance of cultivated plants. These compositions contain as active ingredient at least one compound of the general formula (I), (I) wherein n is an integer of 2 to 5 and R1, R2 and R3 each stand for hydrogen or C1-5 alkyl, or an acid addition salt thereof in an amount of 0.01 to 70% by weight, together with a conventional diluent and/or additive. The plants treated with the compositions according to the invention are more resistant to cold and frost.
