Zusammenfassung:Elongated pipes are internally peeled by positioning a machining head within the pipe while providing relative rotational and longitudinal movement between the pipe and machining head. An external clamping force is applied to the pipe generally radially of its longitudinal axis and in substantial alignment with the machining head for minimizing vibration of the pipe during the machining operation.
