Zusammenfassung:Refining glycerine water to remove finely dispersed particles of organic origin, after acidifying the water to pH 3 at a temperature of 70-100 degrees C and after separating the fat and neutralizing with soda to a pH of 6, is performed by the addition of aluminium sulphate with the subsequent flocculation of aluminium hydroxide and with the subsequent addition of 1-100 mg/l of a starch flocculant , which is followed by sedimentation and filtration.
